When I bought my computer at Best Buy, they installed Norton. Now everytime I turn my computer on, it says I need to update and puts me thru heck trying to log on until I push Cancel. It says my protection has expired. I just want it off there and need to know how to get free virus protection. How can I get that off my computer?

i want to know the absolute best program to clean the registry in windows vista 64 bit, would Ccleaner be the best choice? or something else? i know ccleaner is freeware so there must be something better.

how does "Avira Antivir personal" and "Eusing free registry cleaner" relate to other software out there?

it used to work fine then about a week ago it started to freeze. i thought it had a virus so i tried to run a scan and it just froze again. i went on it again today and it is still freezing, i ran windows malicious software removal tool and it didnt find anything. When it freezes i have to restart it incorrectly then it comes up with a thing and asks if i want to start StartUp Repair. I do this, its fine, then freezes again and the cycle returns. Please help. I’m really worried.

im looking for a virus removal download and registry cleaner download that is the full version and not just a scan of my computer to tell me what the problem is or how many viruses i have. i want one that tells me what viruses i have and then allows me to remove them with out having a credit card or having to purchase anything.
