   Yes it is a good idea to use a registry cleaner from time to time. it will keep your computer from running slowly or crashing unexpectedly. A great one is RegCure, it cleans up the crap and has a built in schedule to keep your system running smoothly. See the link below.

   No, CCleaner deletes all the unneccesary files on your computer, including all browsing history. It also has a registry cleaner built-in.

   ccleaner is good but i use Absolute Uninstaller it is very very
   good cuase you able to uninstall any program , clean , repair registry and manage your startup program which start with windows
