automatic windows installer problem? help?
i could not find the default option for microsoft word so i tried clicking Help > Detect and Repair.
after that, an automatic windows installer always popping up when i open any microsoft software.
it automatically searches for a new software to install and i always have to click cancel to open the softwares i have now.
the softwares are working perfectly but the pop up is slowing my computer down.
how can i get rid of it?

Putting the Office installation CD in the CD drive might satisfy the installer’s quest and solve the problem. I think that’s how it does a Detect and Repair.

It seems that you computer might be affected by some plug-in, you might re-install microsoft word or clean your system with a third party cleaner such as registry mechanic which i have used for years, it works fine. hope it could help you.
