Can someone suggest some free programs to make my computer better?
I have windows xp. I use ccleaner,using registry cleaner,advanced windows care v2,norton,spybot,windows defender, anymore programs I need to keep it clean and run faster it seems like its running slow i have dsl net.I ran disk cleanup and defrag. my drive.

Hi, as I understand it you can have to many cleansing programs. They are all trying to work on what you are doing and slow the processes down.
I only run two, AVG and Adaware, both free editions. No problems. Good luck
For security try Adaware and Spybot. Both these programs are free and have a community working on them to make them more secure. Also please make sure you are using Mozilla Firefox as your web browser (also free). also the problem might be your RAM as well.

Just 2/3 programs are enough to keep computer safe.
Use a good antivirus + antispyware program, such as nod32, avg.
And a tweak software, such as tweaknow, advanced windows care v2 also works fine, i remember those softwares can also registry cleaner ability as well as tweak ur system for best performance also. I personally use tune-up, its also works better.
Well, to make your computer faster you may first check how much RAM do you have installed in your PC. Interestingly we all wants our computers faster and therefore we keep on installing various software for that, but forgets that even these programs consume memory and hard disk space.
So in my suggestion, get rid of some of these softwares or disable them from running always (and use them when you want it).
You may also have multiple softwares installed for same purpose so shortlist them and remove extras.
This action will have less programs running in RAM (memory) and can make your computer faster for sure. Also if you think your RAM is less, you can plan to increase it too as said before.
