Try a program call "cleanup". It’s free and you can find it at http://www.stevengould.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=70
Run it on "standard" and it will clean up all the temporary files on your computer, including many that the "disc cleanup" in Windows misses. See if that helps.
