take it apart there not that hard
With a dry cloth
Computer foam…
it’s brilliant I use it on my laptop
I would use wipes. If the computer no longer works I believe you are in trouble.
go to an electronic computer shop, buy a bottle for cleaning the computers, I have a blue bottle for that I don’t know whta’s its name, just tell the man and he’ll give it to u
Check the manufacturers website to see if the manual will tell you how to take it apart. In most cases the warranty wont cover situations like this, but accidental damage protection will.
Use a Tissue don’t wet it ….. because it could damage the screen… its really very…like u can say soft..
A good and 4 , 5 tissues will help…
ok
Best of luck cleaning…
This may or may not help.
Depending on your make and model of laptop, you might have some tabs at the top of your keyboard. If you slide the tabs you can gently lift the keyboard up and out fo the way.
Or, you might have to access the keyboard from the underside of the laptop by removing some small screws or other fasteners.
I suggest you go to the computer manufacturer’s web site and take a look at the service and repair manual for your particular laptop (assuming you don’t already have the owner’s / service / repair manual that usually comes with a new computer.)
Once you know how to move the keyboard out of the way, you’ll need lots of Q-tips and patience to get into as many nooks and crannies to clean out the mess. Try not to get any other electrical componets wet (you can use something like Windex or plain distilled water for cleaning.) As long as the keyboard is out of the way,I’d also have a can of compressed air available to dislodge any other food particles, dust, etc. as well as to make sure everything is completely dry before reassembling the keyboard.
If you got the screen dirty, I’d recommend a commercial screen cleaning product (NOT WINDEX!) specifically made for computers. You might spend a bit more but they come with a guarantee that nothing will happen to your screen. Home-made products, or products not specifically made for computers, do not have that kind of guarantee!
To clean the outer plastic casing, I’d use a soft cloth and a very mild detergent (like Ivory soap). Use a damp cloth, not wet! After the case dries I’d apply some Armor All to the plastic. Helps to repel dust and other spills. Just don’t get it on the screen or down inside your keyboard!
Hope this helps.
