Replace the CMOS / Real Time Clock battery. If you take the old battery out and put in a new battery within a couple of minutes you may not have to re-set any changes you have made to your BIOS

Your Battery on your motherboard has died out… Also known as a CMOS battery
Go to a car part shop and ask for a ’2032′ battery.

Get a Macintosh. (A REAL computer!)
If the MoBo battery is bad, it would reset the clock to something like 1/1/2000. If it is just behind a few minutes, then double-click the time (bottom-right on Taskbar), adjust the time on the display, OK. You can try Automatic Internet Synchronization, but this doesn’t seem to work.
