		<description>If you just want your files, download/burn ubuntu to a disk by using a friends computer and running ubuntu from the disk. *This will not damage your hard drive or change it in any way.* Boot from the disk you just made and find your hard drive. Use an external hard drive or blank cd&#039;s to get your data off your hard drive. After you have retrieved your files, reformat your hdd for a new installation of XP. Hope it helps.
