You should be able to use the package management program. If it has a search box enter the word clean, then scroll through them and read their description. There should be one to remove unnecessary files. The web browsers have and option to clean the history in the preference menu. In general Linux does not have a lot of junk files that need to be removed. Another thing amazing about Linux, is it does not have a hard drive defrag program because of the file structure it uses. The Defrag in Linux only defrags memory. Unfortunate, like any other operating system, you need to be careful when you use the programs, so it does not remove important files.
