Compressed air should be fine. Make sure you blow the dirt out and not in. You have to open up your computer casing to do this.

no… i mean… whit what? you cant dip it in water… but you can also use some brushes like pronto piumini… it gather dust very good =)
Make sure computer is powered off but keep it plugged in
to protect against ESD (static).
Q-tip damp (NOT wet). You can use rubbing alcohol or
drop of water the Q-tip.
