how do i find ANY obsolete software in my pc, running windows XP

I run it on XP pro and Vista, Have you upgraded to the latest version?
Mine was doing it on my Vista machine and it was just a software incompatibility with Norton that fixed with a version upgrade.
Just My experience. You can also just have ignore it and not fret over it.
