You’ll get people recommending you use "CCleaner" which is a free tool you can get from http://www.ccleaner.com
I would recommend this tool if you just want to clean out problems from the registry, but if you actually want to fix problems like a slow PC and registry errors then I’d recommend using a tool called "regcure" which is more more effective and reliable. I used to use ccleaner a lot but then I discovered it was only finding like 30-50 errors on my PC. I used RegCure and it found 500 errors on there.
