I Need a Windows XP Registry Cleaner?????
I keep getting popups saying that I need a registry cleaner or else my system may fail, its rather annoying. What do I do to get rid of this problem??
I just upgraded the computer, I am wondering if that has anything to do with it

Hello, you don't need a registry cleaner you need a antivirus and antispyware.Your PC is infected. Now first of all go download Ccleaner from here run it to remove the junk data and run for issues too . http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/.
Now get Kaspersky antivirus from here and run it http://www.filehippo.com/download_kaspersky_antivir/?2396, download the version 6.0.2.621. Than go here and download Spy Sweeper http://www.2baksa.net/news/12805/.
After doing everything that I told you you woll get rid of the viruses and etc and will never see them again if you keep your security software updated.
No, I don't think you need a registry cleaner. I think you need a Spyware cleaner.
Spyware causes frequent popups and poor computer performance. For starters, try Adaware and Spybot S& D.
Both are available for free at http://www.download.com/
Typically those popups have nothing to do with your registry. Its just a scam. A good registry cleaner is CCleaner, http://www.ccleaner.com. In order to stop the popups, I would suggest a good popup blocker and some decent spyware removal software. I use Yahoo toolbar to block popups and Spybot Search and Destroy for spyware. You can get Spybot S&D from http://www.download.com.
System Suite, hands down the best, it not only cleans your registry but will optimize your computer too
get clean sweep, but i think you need a pop up blocker instead.
Look for an internet security suite that has a firewall, popup blocker, anti-adware & anti spy ware
get it so u can fix it
