get Avast it offers a really solid protection against threats. It has protection against anti-spyware & anti root-kit. Using it’s Web Shield the computer is protected against browser hijacks blocking access of hijacked websites. also features a heuristics engine and a Gaming Silent mode. The Mail Shield protects the computer from infected email messages, while it’s Instant Messaging Shield protects the system from IM threats. It supports a lot of IM clients like Windows Live Messenger, AOL, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger and others. Another great feature is the Peer-to-Peer Shield, which scans all the files downloaded with P2P clients. Some of the supported clients are: LimeWire, Ares, DC, BitLord. Avast has a Behavioral Shield which monitors the system for any suspicious behavior, and it’s Network Shield monitors the network activity in order to stop virus from infecting the system.
Main Features
– File System Shield Monitors all files and programs stored on the computer.
– Web Shield Monitors and eliminates online threats.
– Mail Shield Monitors all email activity.
– P2P Shield IM Shield Monitors all downloads from P2P applications.
– Behavioral Shield Monitors suspicious activity.
– Gaming Silent Mode Monitors messages, pop-ups or alert threats get displayed.
– Network Shield Monitors all network traffic.
it is free
Free up disk space. A hard drive that is close to being full will drastically slow down your computer. You can clear up space by deleting temporary internet files, empty your recycle bin, remove programs that you do not use, put important files on an external hard drive.
Another way to free up disk space is to use "Disk Cleanup" on your Windows PC. To do this, click "start" and go to "Accessories", go to "System Tools", and click "Disk Cleanup".
Scan for Viruses, Adware, and Spyware. These nasty programs can slow down your computer worse than anything. I would recommend purchasing software that can remove all three of these common problems.
Don’t automatically start up programs when you turn your computer on. Close any programs that you do not use that open when you start up your computer. These programs will run in the background and steal RAM (Random Access Memory).
Defragment your hard drive. Defragging your hard drive places all of your information for each file in one place.
start/run/msconfig….check startup and services tabs. Could also try safe-mode and look at a system restore. Open Taskmanager and look for memory leaks and resource intensive crapware.
Well sounds like you’re doing everything right.
I however have heard nothing but bad things about AVG antivirus. But that is just hear-say I suppose.
Have you tried cleaning out your local disk drives? Get rid of all unwanted/unnecessary stuff that just causes overall lagg. Check the memory status, it shouldn’t be below a certain amount. Hope this helped.
It looks like a malware or virus,it could be caused by downloading illegal songs, porn or softwares from untrusted or unknown websites. It looks like your computer is watched by another computer and the virus might be very advanced.i suggest you should go to a shop and format your harddisk and after that buy anti-virus softwares like norton.becareful of memory cards, external harddrive or thumbdrives that had been inserted into your computer before, you may reinfect your computer by inserting them into your computer again
try to repair windows with windows disk
OR
save personal data on a disk or pen drive or etc and format the windows drive(in which windows is
installed,i think drive C: ) after format scan for virus, Malware and Spyware try avast 5 it can scan your full system after installing avast (it ask u to scan or not)
Omg i’m so hungry, I can’t think straight
Sometime its the most simplest problems that are most difficult to find, take a look at your current power plan. You might have it on Power Saver which can cause freezing, unresponsive applications, etc. Especially when multi-tasking, If this is not your problem feel free to email me:
