   System restore your computer then. That is how you can retrieve the working state of your computer. restore to the time you haven’t run the registry cleaner.

   Try System Restore just before the problem ocured, If that doesn’t work, a clean windows reinstall will fix. The repair on the windows cd has rarely fixed the problem for me, and you usually loose some data. Good Luck.

   Sure would like to know what the cleaner you used was. I’ve been using Ccleaner for years without a problem. But there are others that are way more aggressive than Ccleaner. Those are the ones you need to be careful of.

   Roll your computer back to before you installed your registry cleaner. That should fix it.

   Yes alot of people on here dont know too much about computers and give bad advice. Registry cleaners do nothing at best and you can see what they do at their worst.

   There is no reason why a system restore wont work if your using windows xp or vista. Also see if you can find out if the cleaner you used made a backup of your old registry. try looking in my documents i think registry backups normally end up in there.

   If you have a windows disk copying all the files you can find from the disks system32 folder to the C:\windows\system32 folder might fix alot of the problems.

   I would do use a system restore to a time before your downloaded and ran the cleaner
