Registry cleaners and computer repairs?
Do you know of any FREEEEEEE programs out there that will repair things on the computer. I’m trying new antiviruses but if that isn’t the problem then maybe something else is. What can I do?
I want a computer repair such as machanic not an anti spy. Everything that I have run so far has said that there is no spyware and no viruses. The problem must be something else. I already have the programs that are listed in the answers so far.

Windows XP comes with everything you need to clean up and repair your computer. The built in programs are designed not to cause other problems with you computer. Third part programs can cause additional problems and often do.
This Bleeping Computer website has an excellent Tutorial site that will teach you what you need to know. It also has excellent Forums where you can really good advice and help.

Spybot, yahoo toolbar (which has anti spyware) – these would work well. You can also download counterspy and evaluate it 15 days for free.

It’s better to use more than one program to check for any problems.
Be very careful trying to just search on the internet and download free anti spywares. Some of them are actually spywares. So trust only recognized brands.

you download them . then you run 1 at a time to scan ur pc . use deep scan with them all .when found spyware or addware .malware .trojan in da scan . just hit on delete
use anything highly rated on download.com
regcleaner, anitivirus workstation and kerio personal firewall…
You can download a trial version of registry cleaner or system mechanic from http://www.download.com.
There are many other programs availbale to try it out but you have to puchase a full version. Its not available on the internet.
