Virus or registry software are updated everyday by their creator. You must update regularly your registry software to update the registry cleaners database that you have on your computer.

The trial version is probably a rogue program. I would disregard its results.
It’s not that the trial version is lying, or that their advertising is false, or that they’re trying to get away with anything…it’s just that your installed (registered) package is not that good, that’s all.
I’d disable or uninstall the "registered" package and use a real registry cleaner, like the trial. Chances are the one that found 488 problems is not lying and you need to take care of those issues.
BTW, if your trial package is something like, Registry Mechanic 6.0, or WinUtilities 5.0, you can trust them. They will find a lot of stuff that other packages won’t. They’re worth the investment.
It seems that if you’re really a vet tech, you are the one who gave the ignorant answer about declawing. It’s kind of like people who give advice on parenting who don’t even have children. LOL Get a life…….please……
