I have a new router and I plugged the ethernet from the printer into it. My computer sees it but I cant print. I can clean the heads, align it, and print a diagnostic page from my computer but I cant print documents. The Printer is an HP c6280 and the router is a linksys wrt 610n. Do I need to try to uninstall the printer software and reinstall it? Any ideas are welcomed.

Im having a problem. I need to repair the windows vista registry on my computer, but HP computers dont come with Vista dvd to repair it and other windows files. Im not looking forward to spend any money for someone to fix it or buy a registery repair software. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a HP laptop with WIndows Vista and I think somewhere in the neighborhood of 500MB of RAM, maybe 1 GB, not sure how to check. Some of my programs are running very slowly and I was hoping to find a program that would speed up my computer.

I have a Compaq Presario notebook running Windows XP Prof. I removed Norton using Revo Uninstaller which scrubbed the registry clean too. I also ran a registry cleaner to check for unwanted entries. But the system hangs going into sleep or hibernate. And I don’t dare using HP/Compaq’s system restore because it will just put Norton and a host of other unwanted programs back on my system. Did try using a legit copy of Windows XP Pro to try and do a repair but the screen keeps coming back that there’s an administrative password when there is none. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Turning off hibernate and sleep modes on a laptop is not really an option. Maintaining a windows session to move a laptop takes less time than shutting it down, rebooting, and finding all of the necessary files once more to show to someone. Sleep and Hibernate worked just fine while Norton was on the system.

I inherited a HP 510 Notebook PC from a friend but any software that came with it is lost.

The Dell CD says "only for use on a Dell" or some such stuff but that seems like it might be just corporate nonsense.

I can load the recovery console in the HP at bootup using the Dell disk but I want to know if there’s any real reason not to try it out before I start messing with it.
