My disk cleanup tool for Windows XP doesn’t seem to be working. I will start it and it makes little progress, sometimes it seems like it will stall for hours until I decide to turn it off. Although I may have a huge amount off unnecessary files to be deleted, I don’t think this is normal since my hard drive is only 20 mb. Is there a way to fix this or, better still, is there a better product out there, preferably free.

Please note that I am not looking for a registry cleaner.

I need to know how to uninstall Windows 7 RC and to make a clean installation of Windows XP Professional SP3. Please help! Thank you.

The Asus n81vg notebook came with vista preinstalled. I want to remove Vista and install a new version of windows xp home edition. This is a new product full version purchased for this purpose. Thank you

I am searching for some software that can repair registry errors opn my pc. I use windows XP home. I had heard of a few types of software for this such as registry mechanic but I am not sure.

I have a laptop I want to sell, and I want to do a clean install of Windows XP and reinstall Office 2003.

1) How do I do a clean install? I’ve never done one before.

2) Would the product key for Office still work? I’m under the impression that if you use the key once it’s no longer any good. Am I incorrect?

3) I have the CDs for XP and Office, but they came from a different computer (this laptop had everything preinstalled and did not come with CDs). Does it matter if I’m using discs from another comp?

PS: All my software is legitimate.
If the XP disc is OEM, how would I go about the clean install of the OS?
