   Do your homework before installing a Registry Cleaner, some are not what the say they are, I’ve seen several which then come up in bleepingcomputer or other malware warning sits as being trojans.

   RegistryFixer,Registry First Aid, Complete Registry Cleaner, Registry Mechanic, Reg Organizer,RegSupreme, Ccleaner, Advanced System Care, Registry Repair, Registry Medic, Easy Cleaner, etc.

   I’d highly suggest you to stay away from registry cleaners. Honestly, registry cleaners do more harms than good. The registry is the heart of the OS, a mild to aggressive registry cleaner can leave your OS permanently unstable by deleting important registry keys that they ‘mistakenly’ thought useless. You won’t gain much space out of cleanin’ the registry (some KB?).

   If you really feel the need and want to try a registry cleaner Ccleaner is pretty safe, make sure you use the back-up feature in Ccleaner to back up your registry before fixing registry errors

   Very interesting question, but, you didn’t describe your REAL problem. Slow PC, erratic behaviour, etc., can’t be fixed by just cleaning the Registry.

   Registry cleaners almost never make any detectable performance improvement, they are merely housekeeping tools, and I do use cCleaner myself.

   So, please tell us what your REAL issues are, and your full Windows version, and maybe we can help.

   there are thousands out there, many good, many bad, you should read up on the registry and then pick the one that will do what you want.
