What’s the best way to clean up useless info and get your computer up to snuff again?
I just want to clean up anything that might take up memory and hamper my comps performance.

1) Delete or archive (to CD, DVD, external drive, etc.) any files you do not use currently.
Restart the computer, and voila!
2) Delete your temporary files (*.tmp), or any files in a temporary folder.
3) Delete your temporary internet files.
4) Delete your internet history.
5) Run a scandisk.
6) Run a defrag (then walk away, it will take a while).
7) Run an anti-virus check, to include spamware check/delete.
Lay off the internet shady sites
delete ur unwanted file every week
Assuming that you’re using Windows XP, click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup. After running that, run Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.
You could do:
1) Clean your temporary internet folder+ Temp. folder+recycle under windows.
2) Defrag twice a month.
3) Remove unnecessary programs from windows startup (start>Run> type "msconfig"> "startup"– uncheck the ones not needed)
