Hi,
Use Ccleaner, –
Its the best free registry cleaner there is. Ive used it for years, and it works better than anything else ive tried.

The best way to do this would be just do a system restore and start over. This cleans your registry and your hard drive from things randomly get thrown on your hard drive. I do a system restore about 1-2 times a year. Its the best way to keep your computer in tip top shape.
ps. I would never trust anything free to clean my registry. You shouldnt neither.
System restore is NOT hard at all. All you do is put in the cd and restart your computer then it does it all by itself.
CCleaner is the best..

System restore is a good idea too but you need to be aware of other matters about using the system restore too much which explains here.

I think you better stay away from registry cleaners, no matter what they promise to do for your PC.
Remember, that once installed, every Windows registry is unique, but cleaners work similarly on all computers. That is, while such a software can correct some problems on one computer, it may totally wreck another PC. If you look for reviews of ANY registry cleaner, you’ll find distressed unhappy users of "best registry cleaners".
"If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it"
Or, if there’s a registry problem, the best way is to discover what it is and fix it alone, manually. Blind faith in registry cleaners doesn’t pay off.
Of course, this is just my point of view.
P.S>There’s been a registry cleaner from Eusing, a free one, I heard positive opinions about it from several IT pros. But it can be dangerous, too, if used the wrong way.
