Through Firefox, I can’t log into yahoo..login screen flashes.
Also, I tried all of the suggestions offered by yahoo users to get rid of the persistent "registry clean" popup; it was very risky because in the process I deleted some crucial cookies that had to be restored before I could even access the internet again. I have XP. Is this an IE phish?

I think so. I’ve never had any diffs with Yahoo through Firefox. Check out some spyware and anti-virus to test your system.
