You need to remove it from your registry. I had to remove MSAS and reinstall it to get ti to pick up a sister program called winantispyware that is nearly identical to winfixer
WinFixer is a commercial product that pretends to be a "complete professional system optimization, protection and recovery solution". However, it is actually malware, which continuously displays annoying false reports of purportedly detected system problems, errors and potential threats. Such reports are used to deceive the user and trick him or her into purchasing full registered version of WinFixer. The risk is dropped by certain parasites, but can also be manually installed. WinFixer automatically runs on every Windows startup.it may be in the startup menu in msconfig, but until you remove it from the registry it will just come back.. http://castlecops.com can give the specifics on how to get rid of the version of winfixer you have.
I have the same thing too. I can’t get rid of it either, even though I update the anti spy all the time. I also deleted cookies and history…It still comes up it’s so annoying…
There’s a full set of manual removal instructions here:

It’s relatively complex stuff though.
Winfixer popups is a scam. Don’t purchase it!
