   Sounds like you’re lacking an internet connection. Could that be? If not, then it might be your IP settings, but that’s a whole different game.

   Sometimes this happens when the computer has people watching the internet such as bad things, like bots, trojans, viruses, things like that, another cause, is because the internet wasn’t hooked up properly, check that all your wired/wireless stuff is hooked up properly and the correct connection are enabled, then if that doesn’t work, use a program to check your registry, I recommend TuneUp Utilities 2007, hope this helps (=
