good news you will not have to pay anything if you follow this and you will not loose any data;
you need to have your windows xp. boot from the cd and select like if you want to install -dont worry you will not exactly- do not select repair at the first invite, clic like if you continue installing. the next screen you have one more option to repair. then you choose REPAIR. It will look like windows xp is installing but it actually only refresh files and re-copy missing or damaged ones. once done removce cd and reboot you shouls be OKAY
it depends if they know what they are doing. You should be able to fix that without losing anything but some so called computer repair guys solution for everything is format and reinstall. If you get someone to fix it make sure they understand you want the user files on the pc
I cannot guarantee that the repair shop can fix it. However, I would ask them that they PLEASE back up all files. The files may already be corrupted though, and then they are lost.
However, I would unplug all cords, replug them in, try turning on the computer again…press F8 several times…try safe mode.
Usually yes… I’d get them to backup your stuff first but that usually means you have to personally come and make sure they get everything…
