So i’ve had my computer for a little over two years now, and the entire time i’ve had it (it was a handmedown) it’s sound hasn’t work. I identified the original CD used to install the sound software, but when after installing this correctly it still refuses to work. I am completely unsure how to fix it. windows tells me i have no sound device installed or functioning, but i’m at a loss as to what i should do. I’ve tried every recommended this short of buying a completely new sound device. Any help to be had?
