Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the "registry" and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It’s one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner http://computer-e-book-money.com/ . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.
Which registry cleaner did you use and how many errors did it find?
Most registry cleaners (like CCleaner) are not actually very effective. You need to use a reliable and effective tool which can remove the most erros from your PC. I use a tool called "RegCure" which can be found at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html
Add more memory. Shut down all of the start up programs. You can do this in windows or with Ccleaner. Memory is cheap though, and you shouldn’t be running many programs at once. Norton is no good. Doesn’t do its job and is resource intensive. I use Avira, Avast, and Malwarebytes. Adding a graphics card may help a lot too. Any other questions., feel free to ask.
upgrade it on windows 7 32-bit, i think is much faster than vista.
my laptop has windows xp, but i upgrade it into windows 7 32bit,
and runs the same speed as xp, (with windows aero enabled).
get a copy of xp to install on it. vista is way to laggy and buggy. plus the performance speed wise will lkely almost double.
