When I first bought my computer, they gave me the recovery disks for Windows XP, however, there was a lot of junk installed. I then clean installed vista and used it for about 2 years now. Now I need to install Windows XP again and I was wondering if there was a way to install it without all the junk on the discs. When I bought my computer they gave me 3 recovery discs(part 1,2 and 3) Then when I install XP I find all these trials and mini games. Anyway to get rid of them and only install XP?

My Windows XP Computer has been running very slow lately. I have run virus and spyware scans and removed all that I can. I was wondering about recovering my computer. Could I recover it using the Windows XP Home Edition disk and do a clean install or would that be a pain?? My computer didn’t come with actual recovery disks. If any drivers weren’t installed, would I still be able to start the computer up after I do the install? What drivers will I need?? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Also, could I just download all the necessary drivers from Microsoft without any disks or anything??? Thanks again.

the current OS on this computer is me and I have absolutely nothing on this computer that i need to back up and save.
what is the least complicated and inexpensive way to do a clean install of xp onto this computer?
I would like to run this computer on a network with my other computer that currently uses xp.
from what the xp disk says, I can't boot to the cd because it has a license restriction to the original computer. I had to order the recovery disks cause initially it was installed into the hard drive only.
