What is the best software to tuneup and fix my computer?

Slow computer forever to switch screens freezes multiple screens for know apparrent reason.

Is it necessary to have a registry cleaner? If so, which one do you recommend?

We have many, many pop-up screens from "Messenger Service" telling us "your windows registry is corrupted", and to download Registry Update from:www.pcregistryfix.com, www.regfixit.com,www.correctreg.com, www.windowsxpcleaner.com, and others. Please help.
