What can I do with DLL file error?

I use Windows Vista home premium. Every time when I open the window I got the following error message
C:\Windows\system32\igfxres.dll is either not designed to run Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again or contact your system administrator or software vendor for support.
What should I do?

Deamon tools made a virtual drive can i boot from that drive and repair window or may use any other ghost soft?

hello friends..
i m system administrator but i get tired to format a pc and again install softwares..
there is any method to do this work very quickly and with out use of cd/dvd rom.. if u know plz tell me..
