What are Web Client/Publisher Temporary files?
While cleaning up the disk C for better space under the performance and maintenance programme of the control panel, the web Client/Publisher temporary files are not getting deleted/erased, inspite of the computer saying that they are not necessary and can be safely removed, and even after putting a check mark in the box. Why? And how to delete them?

I run Windows XP and tonight when I did a disk clean up, which I do weekly, the Web Client/Publisher Temp Files and the Compressed Old Files did not convert back to 0, they remained at 32KB and 164KB. They have always converted back to 0 before. Does anyone know what’s going on here and how I can get these file to delete?
