I think you should read this blog post if you haven’t already http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2010/01/how-to-remove-xp-internet-security-2010.html
Also this is a good read http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-vista-2010
Good luck!
XP Antispyware 2010 will only harm any system it infiltrates.
Not only is this misleading security tool dangerous for any computer system, but it is also highly annoying with all its pop-up alert messages.
Check out the link below to remove this dubious application:
http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-8947en.html
Get MalwareBytes which is available from http://www.malwarebytes.org
It’s a free tool which will remove this nasty virus from your computer completely.
After you’ve used MB to get rid of it, you should also use a registry cleaner (I use one called ‘RegCure’ which you can find at http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html) to clean out any damaged settings that XP Antispyware might have left on your system.
xp antispyware 2010 is a cologne of XP Internet Security 2010 check out the removal guide at http://www.xpinternetsecurity2010.com to remove it. Good Luck!
XP Antivirus Pro or XP Antivirus Pro 2010 they are the same with different names. It uses false scan results and fake security warnings in order to scare you into purchasing this bogus software. It says your PC is being hacked and infected by virus and you need to pay for their software in order to remove those virus or spywares.
Once XP Antivirus Pro is loaded into your system, it copies many instance of itself to different locations inside your system and edit your Registry to allow it to launch itself. It will starts up itself even if you boot up using Safe Mode and it blocks you from launching any other software.
To remove XP Antivirus Pro, follow these steps:
Step 1
Open Notepad and copy the follow block of code and save it on your desktop, name it as exefix.reg. NOTE: when you save, make sure you choose Save As Type: All Files
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.ex…
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\sec…
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe\shell\open\comm…
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe]
@="exefile"
"Content Type"="application/x-msdownload"
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\secfile]
Step 2
Double click the exefix.reg from your desktop to open it, it will import those keys into your registry to fix the bad ones that XP Antivirus Pro had modified.
Step 3
Download Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org to do a scan
Step 4
After you install the Malwarebytes antimalware program, make sure you click on the Update tab to update the latest virus definitions first. Then you can do a quick scan and it should take about 15 minutes.
Step 5
After Malwarebytes finishes scanning, follow the screen instructions to remove the infected entries and reboot your PC to clean the remainings.

Okay, first you go to a friends computer.
Then you search up one of these
Avira/MalwareBytes/Avast/AVG
These are legit and free Anti-Virus software that can help you remove the virus
After you got it, transfer the software to your computer. Make sure your in safe mode and off the internet. After installation, scan your computer and remove the virus. Make sure you scan the USB or CD, or whatever you use to transfer the software too, cause it can spread to there.
If it doesn’t get rid of it, try going online and updating the software, whichever one you downloaded, cause it might need a update since it is a fresh virus.
If all doesn’t work, I can you cant try formatting the computer and just clean everything out.
Malware Bytes. I used it, perfectly fine. If still in doubt check the link. cnet review of it a download link. When it comes to new programs, check reputable websites like cnet to make sure its safe, and if they say it is, than it almost certainly is.
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
go to your start menu, and check for an option called "run". If it is not there, open a "Search" and select "all files and folders", then type "regedit.exe", it should come up.
Not sure if you got that far, but that is how.
Once you are in RegEdit, you are going to look for this file you asked for:
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Antispyware 2010)
You should simply need to navigate through the file trees (those little arrows) down to it. If you cannot find "Antispyware 2010" then it does not exist in the registry, or you are looking for the wrong file.
I will try linking to MalwareBytes, it is a FREE to use malware program. I have it installed on my computer, and MANY computer repair places use it, including my colleges IT department.
If you cannot download it, you may need to use another computer, or ask someone close to you to work on your computer.

run that, then do a full scan.
Sounds like a rootkit virus it can hijack your browser but without any windows open it can send you to advertising sites etc. These things can disable normal antiviruses and anti malware. Download "rootkit revealer" from Microsoft or Sysinternals and run it, Go to Task manager and under processes see if there is an oddnamed process sometimes just random letters and or numbers and end process. Then go to Start>run and type in msconfig and click OK, Look under the "startup" tab and uncheck the same process name if it appears there. The registry will need to be cleaned up but normal programs should be able to do that when you have disabled the rogue program.
These things can disable recognised anti-malware programs and system tools like task manager, so you may have to download process explorer or killprocess to stop the process, you need also to rename the malware bytes .exe file to, say for example, xxxx.exe or just copy it to the same folder when it will produce a copy called "copy of…" and run that.
