I have had my computer for about 3 years and it is becoming slow because of registry errors and things of that nature. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a program that can help and clean up computer? I have a dell and I on XP. Thanks in advance.

CCleaner is a freeware utility used to optimize a user's computer and clean its registry. It is developed by Piriform and is designed for Microsoft Windows…
Here's the link: http://www.ccleaner.com/
there is a program called ccleaner, its very good and made purposely for these things, ill give u a link to download.
cc cleaner just type in search, also I would say it may clean it up I use it everyday the register thing also and just delet temp, but I dont know if its speeds it up.
Start by uninstalling any programs you no longer use.
Burn any data files, images, videos etc. you rarely use to CD or DVD. you should be doing this as part of your back-up routine anyway.
Both of the above will leave more room on your hard drive, which can make the computer run better.
Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup and run the programs there. See http://www.theeldergeek.com/disk_cleanup_utility.htm for details.
Download and run ccleaner – http://www.ccleaner.com/ to help repair your registry and other files. Don't forget to back-up your registry first.
