ok i have noticed this before, check out the video card quality setup, and adjust the CPU usage to just under 100% when in use, and to 50% when idle, that should boost your power, and turning down the res in your games, i dont mean the screen size or scaling, i mean the Detail, that should do the trick, i know you are running an OMG power hungry OS, so what are your Specs, let us know, the more info the better the answer.
Just know what your OS is aint telling us what your are using, what Video Card, CPU, PSU, SC, MoBo, and HDD are you using also how much RAM, and how many Optical drives… and how many HDD’s.
very simple answer,
windows vista really has some problems with the functioning
so, you must change your OS, to a simple windows xp.
points don’t matter, are you using 4gbs of ram or higher
If your board can handle it Increase the RAM as high as it can go since you are using Vista 64, you can also go above the 3.3 gig barrier of the 32 bit OS.
When adding more RAM, match the DDR2 800 RAM / DR2 6400 with the same speed.
Then just remember it will only be faster until you get used to using it.
Don’t worry if you don’t like Vista, this time next year you will be running Windows 7. Vista gat a bad rep in the begining and never lived it down.
