idk , but I have a worksheet that i will type out. Here is is:
The human heart has four chambers. These include the left and right atria, as well as the right and left ventricles. Blood enters the heart via the (superior) vena cava, one of the largest veins in the body. Veins carry deoxygenated blood away from the body. Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart. The pulmonary vein is the only vein in the body that carries oxygenated blood, and it carries the oxygenated blood to the heart from the lungs. In the lungs, oxygen is exchanged in tiny blood vessels called capillaries which are so thin, red blood cells travel in a single-file line. Once blood leaves the lungs, it travels through the largest artery in the body, the aorta.
The function of the cardiovascular system is to provide nutrients and oxygen to different parts of the body. Red blood cells carry these things throughout the body, while white blood cells help fight infections.
This took a lot of time to find the info and type it all out, so i really hope you use this. Thanks
i’m not going to fill in the blanks because it is way tooooooooo confusing. the blood goes in the upper vena cava and enters the heart (cardiac muscle), then it it goes right atrium. Next it enters the right ventricle, then from the pulminary arteries it goes to the lungs. Here it gets supplied with oxygen. The oxygenated blood than goes through the pulminary veins and then the left atrium. Now it goes throughthe left ventricle and out the aorta, which is the largest artery in the body. It then goes through the rest of your body through the other arterie away from the heart and travels back through the veins. Capillaries are the smallest blood vessels in your body. Just so you know, this is out of a 6th grade health book and I am only 12, so if is not all scientific, sorry! :~D
Forgive me if this sounds rude, but these answers should all be in your text book. In the time it took you to type it out, you could have found it already…
1. right atrium
2. vena cava
3. right ventricle
4. pulmonary artery
5. carbon dioxide
6. oxygen
7. left atrium
8. vein
9. aorta
Hope this helped!!
