   mine kept looping from bios to boot spash over and over. the vista bootloader is sucky as hell it gave my hard drive so many bad sectors i had to replace it. forget vista wait till win 7 comes out and install that.

   try pressing esape key few times..
   or press ctrl+alt+del if you see windows box (log off, lock etc.) then wait sometime, windows might be loading something..
   also try pressing windows key, do you see start menu ?
