Ive been downloading to omuch and now i have a virus i think cos my internet freezes every second pretty much and evereything is so much slower.. helP?

If you have a anti virus installed on your machine run it in safe mode to check for viruses. If you have a anti spy installed do the same with it’ Run it in safe mode. The to best anti viruses i have seen are Active Virus Shield and Avast. The best anti spy ware i have seen so far is Spy ware Terminator. Once these are run in safe mode and all bugs are cleaned look in your programs and delete what you don’t use. Down load Ccleaner to get rid of junk that is cluttering your hard drive. Your PC should speed up after you do all of this and a de-fragment of your hard drive.
Viruses get a lot of press, but it’s -spyware- that is more probably at fault for the Internet problems you describe. If you can stay on the Internet long enough, you might try testing for spyware at http://www.pcsecurity4sure.com (see the red test button on the right side of that page). The test is free, and you don’t have to leave your name, email or contact information to run it. I’m sure you’ve seen and heard many people say that "the only way to clean your PC is to wipe the drive." Besides being untrue, do you have the spare hours to backup your data/emails/favorites, reinstall windows, run all its updates, install your system drivers, install all of your software and their updates, your network settings, and all the printer/scanner/camera/player etc. software that you’ve added to your PC? Let’s not forget that you should check your backed up data files for viruses/spyware before putting it all back on your clean drive, of course. Clearly, this is a BIG job (to do fully and correctly) for anyone, but it is a particularly daunting prospect for the novice PC user. I’ve gone through that! It’s a bummer but don’t worry there are a lot of good FREE software tat you can use to check this situation. Go to Download.Com and download the following softwares: AVG Anti-Spyware, and Spybot. Also, if you got a genuine Microsoft software, download the Windows Defender. This sould help you out for now.
you’ll have to spare some time for your pc.Exit evryprogram and go to start>programs>accesories>system tools>disk defragmentor.
Defrag all the disks one after other.
