1.You mentioned just had system restore, did you mean you reinstalled(repair option) of your xp.If so you might have chosen to install XP keeping the old file system into a new folder. This certainly eats up your hard disc space.
2.you run "chkdsk /f" fro run menu(without quotes) to fix if there are any bad sectors in the hard disc.
3.Did you install XP sp3,try removing it.
4.If there is nothing important & you are willing I would recommend a full clean install of XP as a last option.

Yeah… Go to your C drive and delete the whole thing. This should free up about 75% of the computer space.
dump ur files to cd –music –video etc
What do you mean by system restore?
Do you mean factory SYSTEM RECOVERY(factory restore) or Windows XP System Restore?
If you did Windows XP System Restore, then your files should be same as before. If you did factory restore, then your files should be same as when you first bought the computer.
How big is the hard drive? If it’s 2GB or less, then I don’t think anybody can help you except getting new hard drive that’s over 100GB.
If your hard drive is bigger than 50GB, then do factory restore(or SYSTEM RECOVERY on some computers). First back up your data before anything.
