   Ccleaner has a registry option and everytime you update or uninstall a old program there are old files left in the registry they start to build up in time slowing your pc down cleaning them up with a registry cleaner helps your pc run smooth also temp files that are stored there too. a very few are free
   but most you paid for also don’t buy regcure or easy cleaner it cleans not only the old registry files but some of your install program files{.dll,.exe. etc.} as well causing some programs not to work well.

   Not necessary but preferred. They help. I don’t think there are any for free that I know

   It’s not really necessary but it’s an option if you want your registry to be trim without leftovers by programs that no longer exists. Try the free Glary Utilities. It’s got lots of useful features that you will appreciate:
