   i have tuneup utilities 2004, and i think its one of the better programs out there.. it have never had any problem with it.. it is easy to use and runs through its paces pretty quick..

   i give it a thumbs up!!

   Go back to "downloads.com", and get "Registry Mechanic". It’s great, works fine, and cleans up my computer with no problems. It’s designed to FIND problems, and correct them. Don’t worry!

   They "can" be, but they can also do damage. It’s a risk and unless you know something about the registry and can look over what keys are to be changed, then I’d recommend leaving it alone.

   Try ccleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com/
   It has a reg cleaner which is safe to use.
