Clean Registry and Optimize PC
I tried many free software utilities in past, but in general was dissappointed. If you need to clean registry, etc I would prefer to use a trustable source. I use in fact Uniblue solutions, you can check their speed up computer solution here http://www.liutilities.com/products/speedupmypc/
One way is to keep your disk clean use Disk Clean Up, click Start- Accessories – system tools- disk clean up.

Yes!
Windows based Computers after a while get slowed down by evil stuff such as viruses, spy-ware, dirty registries, and ad-ware.
But there is a way to get the machine back in a good condition.
Downloads.com is a great place and where I get the first two programs.
Spybot search and destroy (gets rid of spy-ware)
AVG Free (gets rid of viruses)

There is where you get Ccleaner. This program will first get rid of lots of useless files you don’t need such as Internet histories, Also it scans your registries for useless strings to deleted programs and such.
The last program I use is Ad-aware. You have to google this. It cleans up ad-ware, which also can slow down your machine.

Yes, but you dont need to download it, it should be on your computer already if you have Windows 2000 and up, Just click start go into all programs, go up to accessories go into it then go down to system tools then click on disk defragmentor and go from there when you open the program press defragment and it shall make your computer go faster when its finished defragmenting
