is there any way i could get ahold of a registry cleaner that could either find unused registries (possibly give me a date of when htey were last used) or to find known unwanted registries( virus registries etc.) it would be greatly appreciated

I use a program known as "CCleaner". It pretty much cleans all the junk out of my computer (temp files, cookies, etc.) and it has an integrated registry scanning tool that identifies problems with registry entries, tells you what it is and gives you the registry key for the individual scanned issues.
