I know about the free download scans. But, is there any actual free driver cleaner software out there that I can download and use for free that will help with my computer problems?

Free Driver Cleaners are out there and hard to find. Although I can’t say there is a good one that is free, I use DriverCure very good program, but not free. Driver Utilities tend to do more harm then good especially if you are working with a laptop. You might want to invest into a reputable one, such as DriverCure, Driver Detective etc..

This is the best free one I’ve ever used. No matter what you use make sure to create a restore point, and do a full backup of the registry and anything else you modify.
