   ok read this carfully. it will fix your problem. i am a computer tech. so i know what im talking about. get on a different computer and go to google and search "killdisk". its a program for wiping hard-drives. wiping you hard-drive is really the only option. you will need a blank cd, and killdisk will put the software on a cd for you. once thats done, go to your broken computer and put the disk in. you will have to figure out what key to press to boot from the cd when your computer starts. killdisk works in the bios of your computer. once its loaded. you will have to follow the instruction to wipe the hard drive. then you can re-install windows. if this is confusing, just look it up on youtube. 😀

   Please notice the corrupt driver’s information on the blue screen. It will inform you that which drivers are outdated, incorrect or corrupt. Look for a file with the .SYS extension and search for that file name. If you do not have the drivers for all devices, or are not comfortable updating your PC’s drivers manually, you can use a driver update tool to find, download and update all device drivers for you. Such tools will accurately identify your computer hardware, including any device causing an error, and automatically install the latest drivers for it.

   When computer starts up hit f8 key and choose safe mode. Once computer loads desktop do a system restore. Restore computer back to a time before you did updates.

   Wow… Bad answers.
   Here’s what I would do:
   First) If you have a Windows XP disk, you can use it to do a repair install. Simply put, you go through the steps to install a fresh copy of Windows on your computer, but when asked, choose to repair the existing installation. You may get an error if you have a CD that is an older Service Pack than the one you have installed. There are a couple of ways around that.

   Second) If that doesn’t work, or it doesn’t give you the option to do a repair install, when you boot using the Windows CD, instead of going for an install, you can enter the recovery console. Once the recovery console is loaded, type in the following (make sure that you get it exact):
   chkdsk /r
   That will scan the disk for errors and attempt to fix any corrupt or bad sectors.

   Third) You can install a second copy of XP. Now, this is an option you can use if all you really want to do before starting fresh is to get your files off the drive. Choose to leave the file system in tact. DO NOT choose to format your drive. After you install and get your files off the system, you can install windows again and format which will wipe out everything on your disk, including the old and the temporary install that you just did.
