I have had to reboot my computer several times due to using limewire and downloading games. I’ve never had a problem when I downloaded songs, but since rebooting, there’s this annoying error message that keeps popping up stating to use a registry cleaner because my registry is corrupted or damaged. I have downloaded several registry cleaners (freeware) and I assumed that the problems were fixed, but I keep getting this error message–even after I cleaned the registry about 5 times, and each popup message uses a different download location, i.e. registrycleanerxp.com, and www.cleanregistry.com. How can I fix this problem?

Hi, u have some serious spyware problem on ur pc now. I suggest that u do the following steps:
1.disable system restore.
2.restart in safemode
3.visit http://onecare.live.com and run Microsoft’s free safety scanner to remove all viruses, trojans, spyware, and registry errors.
4.no restart normally
5.remove all previous security software and install these:
AVG Antivirus: http://free.grisoft.com
Spybot: http://www.download.com
Comodo Firewall: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com
6.update and scan from these tools
7.restart ur pc
8.re enable system restore and create a new restore point

sounds like spyware – you should look at getting a spyware remover rogram.
I like to know what’s running on my system and will use a program called hijackthis! it’ll tell you what’s running – both good and bad.
This is a virus I had that same problem on 3 of my computers/laptops I bought this product called Xoftspye and my computers are fine I do not get that popup anymore they are trying to get you to purchase their product[which oinly gives you more viruses].

You have spy wear on your computer. Run a remover it will go away. Spybot is a good one and free http://www.safer-networking.org/
This is called "Spyware". I would suggest scanning your computer for Virus’s and Spyware with a program such as Norton, or Avast! (free program). That should get rid of it! Hope this helps!
