Alright what I’d suggest is do a FULL system scan with every antimalware program you have. IF you dont have these already, get them.
Spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org
Ad-Aware from http://www.lavasoft.com
Then run a registry cleaner using CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com or use Microsofts tool available here:

After doing that, run a disk defragment and you should be all set. I hope I helped!
You must do a system repair using your windows xp cd. Boot your pc using the CD (ensure your CD is booted before your Hard drive in your BIOS settings under boot sequence (you can do this right when you power up by holding either the DEL or F1 key depending on your bios manufacturer)). Then do an install of XP using the repair option. This replaces only your core system files including anything AVG or the virus modified.
You have to use the Windows XP CD and use the restore feature with the hard disk connected as a Primary Master.
Hi
OK , first , that wins the winlogon.exe and winit.exe are long gone , so try this , but from the good pc and copy both files to the hd that has the problem . Then , download , parition magic and open the bad hd there to restore the BOOT SEQUENCE. When you use parition magic it will ask for where it should copy the missing files and you direct it to your good hd or from the xp cd. Please let me know if this works and to help you with other ways ok
