According to that Microsoft article, your problem is supposed to be, most likely, RAM. To double check this, visit http://www.memtest86.com and download the ISO of Memtest86. Make a CD from the ISO, boot your computer to the disc, and let it run for a few hours. If you do indeed have bad RAM, you will see this program tell you.
