I do online karaoke. I am trying to use my webcam to do this and everytime I start to use it my internet explorer crashes saying the file that caused the error is quartz.dll. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I am using a creative webcam NX and have downloaded all drivers including the new ones directly from creative’s sight. I have also done all necessary windows updates as well. I am perplexed as what the problem can be?

logotech I know about yours not to well. When its crased you have any other windows open? and you may need to update the program for your cam.. yes cams have patches updates just like other programs.ya done that so.. there a help guide in that program also, make sure just one cam is running and you have enough ghz and all that usually a drive is infected, bad installation to begin with and this can happen if a firewall is on only some get loaded , something is missing. Check your internet connection lan dial up etc and what proxies it is set up bt usomethign tells me it is your active X thing some active X’s are blocked with your tool bar pop up stopper. try this site and other than that it can be a corrupt file for many reasons.. http://www.processlibrary.com/directory?files=quartz.dll
