   What is going on is windows is trying to star from a recovery error. The only way is to either repair the laptop using a OEM windows disk (full version of windows, not the recovery disks that came with your laptop or the ones that you created).

   If all this fails take out the hard drive make it into an external hard drive copy all your files that you need and you will have to reinstall window in your laptop.

   Michelle,

   There can be two issues:

   1. Virus (Use AVG free)
   2. Corrupt registry (Use Reginout )
